The Twilight palette by Julie Hewett

Today has been one of those days for me. I can only describe it through feelings and urges. Have you ever had one of those days?

I have the urge to bite something, and i have an uneasy feeling in my stomach, like i am on the edge of something. I am frustrated and annoyed... and anxious all at the same time.

In an effort to keep my wits about me, i searched the internet for something... I didn't know what though. I looked at all my favorite websites, checked my twitter, my email, and looked for jobs, but nothing would get the uneasy feeling out of the pit of my stomach.

I decided bran flakes would help. How, i have no idea, but i poured myself a bowl.

Well, they tasted like bran, as one would expect, but to my dismay, they were not what was needed.

I searched again, this time trying to find a picture of a palette i bought from TJ Max. I was going to do a review on it, but i needed to find the website in order to recomend the palette to others, but when i type Willi Smith eyeshadow palette into the search engine, it gives me no direct, or even indirect site.

I was annoyed.

Maybe i could find pictures?

I searched google images, and found nothing.

Well, no Willi Smith palette, but i did find something else that piqued my interests.

This website popped up:

The first thing i thought was, "uh oh. Twilight."

This was something new and fresh, and just what the doctor ordered. I had never heard of Julie Hewett, nor had i seen her products before. She had created something Twilight and makeup fans would eat up in an instant. A twilight makeup palette, inspired by the books and movies.

The picture, as shown above, is of her awesome Twilight palette, which is a whopping $40, and that doesn't include shipping and handling.
It has awesome colors, which compliment eachother very well, and comes up with a very vampy look, BUT these colors can easily be duped for cheaper, more easily available products.
I am not going to purchase the palette myself, considering my *AHEM* situation, but this palette would be a great addition to any Twilight collectors .... Collection.
It has four eyeshadow colors, a velvety brown for the crease, a light highlight color, a purplish pewter tone for the lid, and a dark black color that can be used as a liner.
Of course, you could mix it up, and create your own personal look, but all in all, the colors are pretty well put together.
Now i don't know about pigmentation, or anything like that, seeing as how i don't own the palette, but if this is something that interests you, i'm glad i could point you in the right direction.
Have fun Twi fans. And happy shopping.

Lazy week // INs and OUTs

So, guys, this week has been an odd one. I have been so sleepy, going to bed at odd hours and sleeping till noon almost everyday. I say almost because, the other day, i actually slept untill 2 in the afternoon!!!
I need some structure back into my schedule. It is so odd to not have anything to be rushed about. I don't have to get up in time for school, nor do i have to make lunches, and be ready for work by a certain time. And the fact that i don't have homework is REALLY freaking me out. For a couple of days, i felt weird, like i was missing something, and i realized that i was feeling that way because i am normally stressed out about not having enough time to do homework!!!

Lilly~Anne however, is having the time of her life. Either me or Nate have been home everyday now, and she has been let out for about 6 hours each day. We have even been letting her in the bedroom and bathroom, and we NEVER do that! She went dirty clothes diving this morning, and went for a swim in the tub on sunday. *Sigh* the exciting life of a ferret!

The worst thing is, i am trying to come up with something for a blog post.... And i realized that i really don't have much to talk about!

So here's to scraping the bottom of the barrel.

INs and OUTs for this week:

IN
~Vanilla icing scented candles- I have about ten of these, and i have been burning them all over the apartment.
~Ahi Tuna and rice with picante sauce. YUM. Nate made this last night, and it was AMAZING.
~The tv shows: Community, Cougar Town, Modern Family, and LOST. I have been watching these nonstop, and Nate and i had a LOST marathon last night! Almost done with season five.
~Not using the dryer to dry your clothes. I did this the other day to save time, but realzied that i saved a ton of energy and electricity by not using the dryer. I should do this more often, and so should you!
~Knitting people things for christmas. I want to do this as soon as i finish that scarf i have been working on! I hope i can at least get a few things done before the holidays!
~Twitter. I LOVE TWITTER!

OUT
~Having a job. I miss it, but since i don't have one, this is OUT!
~Homework. I don't have another class untill january 11th!
~Spending money. I have to save up, or pinch pennies, since im not working, so this is OUT OUT OUT.
~Leaving the house. I feel like a hermit, LOL.

I hope you guys have a fruitful week!
XOXOXOXO

My Colorado trip!

So last weekend, i went to Colorado for a soon to be family member's wedding. It was like a mini vacation! I loved seeing the mountains, and the fact that the dry air made my skin not as oily. This was the farthest i had ever been from home, and Nate's family gave me a new nickname: West of Toledo; because before then, that was the farthest west i had ever been! Toledo Ohio!
We left on friday morning, very early, and arrived at the Denver airport at about 10:45 local time. Including layovers, the trip took only 5 hours!! Planes are fast!!!!
Where i live ((OHIO)) there are TONS of trees, and everything is green and lush, but here, there were grasslands everywhere, and everything was really brown. It looked cold, but it wasn't!
We got to go up into the mountains for the wedding, and explore downtown Denver! We also got to spend a lot of time with Nate's family, my soon to be inlaws. It was a great weekend.

Here are some of the pictures:

Do you see the mountains in the distance???

This is a coyote, behind out hotel. He was stalking a few prairie dog holes, waiting to catch some lunch. It was funny because the prairie dogs knew he was there, and they were barking at him, as if they were making fun of him!

One of the prairie dogs, sitting on his hole. He was a pretty safe distance from the coyote, and pretty cute too.

Nate ((my fiance)) and i at the wedding, up in a cabin in the mountains!

This is Nate and i in front of the Denver Art Museum. I LOVE ART MUSEUMS!!!!

This is a picture from the plane: My first plane ride ever!

UPDATE!
I am officially better, NO MORE PIGGY FLU! I am completely healthy again! YAY!
Nate and i were laid off on thursday, and we are both currently job hunting, and Lilly~Anne is growing in her new winter coat!

Feeling better!!!

OMG! I feel sooooo much better today. This has been the first day in over a week that i have got up without running a fever, or not being able to get of bed. I am still coughing and i still have a slight fever, but compared to the achey run down feeling i have had all week, i feel like a million bucks today!
I want to say thanks to anyone who kept me in their thoughts over the last couple of days, and who wished me well.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!
And here is an internet hug free of the flu: ::HUGGGG::

I have sooo much stuff i want to get done! And i also have some other good news!
A couple of friends have called me regarding job openings where they work! I have had 3 people call me! YAY! I am going to apply at all three and hope for the best. Any one of these jobs would be appreciated.
Will you guys cross your fingers for me?
THANK YOU!!!!

So, seeing as how this is a beauty/fashion blog, i need to start blogging about beauty and fashion!!!
My next post will be a video and a blog for a tag on youtube.com : 8 most worn things!!!!!!
I look forward to making it, and look forward to posting.
See you guys later!
XOXOXOXOXOXO
